Covid 19 Security procedures at Palmayachts

 

 

1. Cleaning process before check-in

  • Clean and disinfect the interior of the boat with special attention to the most used touched areas, such as door handles, cabinets and drawers, handrails, tables, benches, walls and floor in general;
  • Disinfect bathrooms with bleach solution or alcohol-based disinfectant;
  • Placement of kitchen kit (plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans and other utensils) previously washed and disinfected;
  • Placement of pillows in a sealed bag previously washed and disinfected;
  • If the client has contracted bed linen, placing of linen kits in a previously sealed bag, washed and disinfected;
  • After cleaning, put the ozone generator into operation for 30 minutes, closing all hatches and doors and ensuring that no one is inside the boat. After 30 minutes of operation, ventilate the boat and wait another 30 minutes before entering;
  • Wash and clean the boat’s exterior, with special attention to the areas of greatest contact such as rudders, winches and handles, instruments, doors and hatches, handrails, auxiliary engine (if contracted), winch control and other surfaces.

2. EMPLOYEE PREVENTION PROCESS FOR CHECK-IN

  • Have temperatures taken before starting to work;
  • Wear masks when in contact with guests;
  • Observe social distancing guidelines (2m apart);
  • Regular hand disinfection and hand washing.

3. Check-in

  • Only one guest/skipper will be allowed during check-in procedures – the rest of the crew need to observe social distancing guidelines;
  • Guests will be required to wear masks;
  • Guests will be asked to sanitize their hands.

 

4. Check-out

  • Only one guest/skipper will be allowed during check-out procedures – the rest of the crew need to observe social distancing guidelines;
  • Guests will be required to wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines;
  • Guests will be asked to sanitize their hands;
  • The client must remove all the belongings from the boat before Palmayachts staff go on board to check for possible damage;
  • The client must remove all trash that is on board including the trash from the bathrooms;
  • Palmayachts staff must wear mask and sanitize hands.

 

5. After Checkout

After check-out and the necessary checks, the cleaning team will:

  • Place all the clothes used on the vessel in reinforced and closed plastic bags for later washing and disinfection at high temperatures;
  • Place all kitchen utensils in reinforced and closed plastic bags for later washing and disinfection at high temperatures;
